New Patients

Welcome! We are delighted to have you and to help you find relief.

Before you arrive:

Please take some time to fill out the paperwork before you came in so we are better able to serve you. Your paperwork will be emailed to you once you schedule your appointment.

Make sure to have a light snack before coming to your treatment and wear loose fitting clothing (clothes that can be rolled up to the elbows and knees).

FAQ:

Does acupuncture hurt?: This is the most common question we are asked. In general, acupuncture is very comfortable and most people find it very relaxing. That is not to say acupuncture is without sensation. Some sensations that may be experienced at the point include heaviness, tingling, shooting and a spreading good feeling. These are all normal and indicate that change is occuring within the body.

What can I expect at the first visit?: At the first visit, we will go over your health history, your current concerns and your health goals. We will devise an appropriate treatment plan and you will receive your treatment.

How long does a treatment take?: Treatments will be about 1 hour long.

How many treatments will I need?: A typical course consists of twelve treatments. This may vary depending on the condition and how long it has been occurring. Results vary by individual and specific condition.

Do you accept insurance?: We are currently only in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. For other insurances, we can provide a detailed receipt called a superbill that can be submitted for reimbursement if it is a covered benefit. Payment is due in full at the time of treatment.
